Turbine Flow Meters (HM) – General Overview / Measuring Principle

Turbine Flow Meters for flow measurement of fuels, light fuel oil, thermal oil, solvents, tap and demineralised water as well as special models for refrigerants, pharmaceutical fluids, cryogenic fluids, liquefied gases and high-pressure applications.

Turbine flow meters are mediate volume transmitters similar to a Woltmann’s sailwheel meter. Thanks to extremely rapid response times and high resolution turbine flow meters are perfectly suitable for fast filling systems.

Due to an enormous pressure and temperature resistance turbine flow meters will also be the perfect choice for water torch systems, temperature control units, cooling circuits or painting systems, where the consumption of solvents and di-water needs to be measured.
